Besides the many relaxation, leisure and wellness offerings that the panorama Hotel ALPENBLICK offers you, the hotel’s height of 1060 m is also an ideal starting point for numerous different activities. Walks and hikes – on level promenades or up the mountain – are possible directly from the hotel. The town bus stops right in front of the hotel and can take you to other points of departure. You can reach the centre of Bad Gastein in 10 minutes by walking. The Graukogel lift (a 5-minute walk away) takes you to a height of 2000 m and makes nice mountain hikes and climbs from the mountain station easier.

Hiking in Bad Gastein

All in all, the Gastein Valley between Dorfgastein and Sportgastein offers a variety of hikes or mountain climbs, short or long, simple or more challenging. In addition, a 120 km long path network through the entire valley with 11 signposted paths for hiking, running, and walking was built.  You can hiking, and all possible sightseeing tours company such as

Skifahren und Ski Touren (Skitouren gehen)

For the winter holiday, over 50 ski lifts, 200 km of ski runs (up to 200 km high) and over 90 km of cross-country courses are available. Beginners and skilled persons, downhill skiers, snowboarders, ski mountaineers and cross-country skiers – all will find routes to their liking. 60 km of easy, 117 km of average difficulty, and 24 km of difficult downhill ski runs offer sufficient variety.
The ski pass is valid in Gastein Valley and 22 other large ski regions.
The Graukogel lift (up to 2000 m) can be can be reached from the ALPENBLICK in a few minutes by foot. The ski run leads to the hotel (photo above), where the bar invites everyone to Après-Ski (socializing activities customary after skiing).
The ski bus to other destinations stops in front of the hotel. 

In the winter, there are also lovely paths or drives with the horse-drawn sleigh. The hotel's terraces invite pleasant sunbathing.

And the pool in the ALPENBLICK offers a special bathing pleasure until the evening hours with its sufficiently warmed water in the middle of a fascinating winter landscape.
